अगर सफ़र में मेरे साथ मेरा यार चले,
तवाफ़ करता हुआ, मौसम-ए-बहार चले;
नवाज़ना है तो इस तरह नवाज़ मुझे,
कि मेरे बाद मेरा ज़िक्र बार-बार चले;
जिस्म क्या है, कोई पैरहन उधार का है,
यहीं संभाल के पहना, यहीं उतार चले;
बस यही इक तमन्ना है इस मुसाफ़िर की,
जो तुम नहीं तो सफ़र में तुम्हारा प्यार चले।
आँखों में डूब कर
इन आँखों में डूब कर मर जाऊं,
ये खूबसूरत काम कर जाऊं;
तेरी आँखों की झील उफ्फ तौबा,
इन गहराईओं में अब उतर जाऊं;
तेरी आँखें हैं या मय के ये पैमाने हैं,
पी लूं इन्हें और हद से गुजर जाऊं;
एक शिकारा सा है जो तेरी आँखों में,
तू कहे अगर तो इनमें ठहर जाऊं;
तेरी आँखों की झील सी गहराई में,
जी चाहता है कि आज उतर जाऊं।
